Taipei's MRT System

Taipei has a transportation system called the MRT, which is a lot like New York's subway system except it's cleaner and more efficient. A new train comes through in every thirty seconds, but it's always crowded. It's a great chance to practice our Chinese since a big group of 'Mei guo ren' always attracts attention. I've made a lot of friends here.

The cool thing about the MRT is the fact that you can go nearly anywhere in Taipei for around $1. We've ridden it nearly every day.
